					The ASG welcomes members of all skill levels and from many different walks of life. Learning new skills, networking with others who share an interest in sewing, and having the opportunity to contribute to community service sewing projects is our common thread. Membership in the Guild gives you an opportunity to experience your love of any type of home sewing with others who share your interest. The Fort Myers/Southwest Florida Chapter has more than 290 members and meet on the fourth Saturday of the month at the Lee County Extension Office at 3406 Palm Beach Boulevard in Fort Myers. At our General Meetings you have an opportunity to get acquainted with seasoned members, new members and guests. There are also ten Neighborhood Groups that meet monthly in Cape Coral, Fort Myers Beach, South Fort Myers, and Naples. There are also Special Interest Groups on Embellishment Techniques and Community Service Sewing. In addition, our chapter holds multiple events, such as sewing retreats in the spring, and fall; a luncheon and fashion show; and other workshops and seminars. You are welcome to visit us at any meeting. Locations for the Neighborhood Groups are listed on the Meetings page. Guests may attend two events prior to joining our chapter.
