Love to sew? Want more techniques and inspiration? Meet others who sew at the Fort Myers/Southwest Florida Chapter of the American Sewing Guild and be inspired, informed, and entertained!

The American Sewing Guild is a national non-profit organization dedicated to advancing sewing as an art and life skill. Its purpose is to provide information, education and programs for its members and the community. We work toward spreading the joy and benefits of sewing with our members and communities. One of the main goals of the ASG is to improve the quality of life for those less fortunate through various community service projects. The ASG also provides current sewing news, education, information, techniques and networking opportunities for sewers of every skill level.

Membership in the American Sewing Guild is $40 for new members, $35 for renewing members. Benefits of joining the ASG include a subscription to Notions the national quarterly publication, and to our Fort Myers/Southwest Florida Chapter newsletter. You will also receive discounts to various retailers, including JoAnn stores; and you will meet and make friends with others who have an enthusiasm for sewing. Membership in the guild is open to the public.

You may join the American Sewing Guild online and designate Fort Myers/Southwest Florida as your chapter. As a Chapter member, you will receive our bi-monthly newsletter, Sew On & Sew Forth, and join any of our neighborhood groups.
